Dennis Conn – Living Water RepresentativeThrough a deep desire
to serve the Lord with his treasures and talents Dennis began On His Wings
Foundation, a non-profit 501C3 organization. We are developing a water
bagging machine to provide people with a product called "Living
Water" (in their language) in the event of a disaster. This machine exists
in the form of a 600# machine that was bought from China. This machine needs to
be redesigned to weigh less than 200# so we can transport it in a small
jet or piston aircraft to a disaster location. Our desire would be that we
would be used by Jesus to take the Gospel to "Every Tongue Tribe and
Nation"

Saturday Morning SpeakersFAA FSDO - Marlan Perhus
Marlan Perhus got bit by the “flying bug” at the age of 15 and started flying right away. A North Dakota native, Marlan soloed on his 16th birthday, got his private pilot’s license just after his 17th birthday and went on to get his instrument rating before entering college at the University of North Dakota in 1985. In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Studies from the University of North Dakota, Marlan holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Marlan was hired at the FAA in August of 1990 in the General Aviation Unit and recently celebrated 25 years as an Aviation Safety Inspector with the FAA. Marlan eventually became the FAA’s Safety Program Manager (formerly known as Accident Prevention Specialist) and worked in accident prevention for 10 years which included traveling throughout Minnesota conducting aviation safety seminars. Just after 2001, Marlan left the General Aviation Unit and worked with the Mesaba Airlines certificate as the Saab 340 Program Inspector - and later the Avro 146 Program Inspector. When Mesaba sold all their Avros, Marlan went to work on the Northwest Airlines’ FAA team with the DC-9 program. After the merger between Northwest and Delta, Marlan worked as the Airbus A-320 Program Manager. Presently, Marlan is the Principal Operations Inspector overseeing the Compass Airlines certificate at the Minneapolis FSDO. He and his wife Karen enjoy flying their Piper Cherokee 140. They both enjoy European travel, photography, and physical fitness. They are active members and photographers at their church - Gloria Dei Lutheran in Saint Paul. Marlan has a passion for aviation safety and loves working in aviation.
